The Nigeria Society for infection Control NSIC membership is open to all individuals and institutions involved in infectious medicine.

Current members of the society are drawn from the various disciplines of the health sector including but not limited to clinicians, infection control nurses, pharmacists, public health officers, nurses, researchers amongst many others who have an active interest in infection prevention and control. Currently, the society has over 280 members spread across the country.

We provide, promote and support opportunities for continuing education in Infection prevention and control and in related fields.

Formulate National IPC guidelines

Our members work together to develop guidelines on infection prevention and control that facilitate improved quality of healthcare delivery in Nigeria

Membership Category

Individual: For the health care practitioner or professional in a related field with an interest in infection control activities.

Payment covers how long?

Membership year is from the 1st January through to Dec 31st of that year.

When do I renew my Membership?

Annual subscription is due on or before 1st of January of the new year.

Is Membership transferable?

Membership is on an individual basis including those memberships paid for by an institution, it cannot be transferred.
