Oyinlola Oduyebo is a Professor of Clinical Microbiology at the College of Medicine University of Lagos, Nigeria and the current Head of Department of Medical Microbiology & Parasitology both in the College of Medicine and the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. She is a member of the Infection control Africa Network and a board member of the Nigerian Society of Infection Control. She was one of the coordinators for Infection Prevention and Control during the 2014 Ebola disease outbreak in Nigeria. She was a founding member of the Nigerian Society for Infection Control (Formerly Nigerian Infection Control Association, NICA) in 1998 and has been the Chair of the Infection Control Committee and the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committees of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital since 2012. She is the coordinator of the National working group for antimicrobial stewardship in Nigeria and has contributed significantly in raising awareness on Antimicrobial stewardship in Nigeria and Africa.
